School and College Open Day
Are you exploring school or and post 16 college options for a young person or adult (up to 25 years old) who is visually impaired?
WESC Foundation is holding its next open day on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 from 10am until 2pm.
Our open days are useful for parents and young people considering WESC Foundation as an option and also for commissioners, teachers and SEND professionals to find out all about WESC Foundation services. These include:
- the school (up 16) yrs)
- the college (16+ and post 19 options, sometimes up to age 25)
- VI specialist outreach in mainstream or special school and college settings
- social enterprises and work placements
- Care (residential and day) and supported living services for young adults
About the event
The open day follows a relatively formal programme, and includes a full tour of all our facilities, Q&A time with heads of departments including our VI specialist team, therapy and mobility, research, care and education and our CEO. Plus lunch!
Booking essential, and we ask that visitors arrive in time for the beginning of the event at 10.00. A full programme will be provided upon receipt of your enquiry.
