Remote Learning Support

This Learning Zone was last used during the Spring Term 2021 to support students who were learning from home.

It will be re-activated if we need to return to remote learning later in the year.

WESC Foundation Curriculum

Overview

Our curriculum inspires, challenges and empowers each student to live their best life. It has been developed around five ‘pillars’ of learning for all our students across School and College, each of which contain two framework areas/subjects:.

Communication: Literacy and Communication; ICT and Access Technology

Life Skills: Daily Living Skills; Numeracy

Wellbeing: PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) and RSE (Relationships and Sex Education); Physical and Leisure

Community: Citizenship; Work Skills

Curiosity: World Around Us; Creativity
