WESC Foundation choir perform at Castle Drogo
9 December 2019
WESC Foundation’s own choir, Soundwaves, made the trip to National Trust’s Castle Drogo last week to perform some Christmas carols for staff and visitors.
The choir, made up of staff and young people from across all areas of WESC Foundation, sang six songs for visitors. Showing off their harmonising skills, they performed one song as a three part round and wrote their own lyrics to include their favourite Christmas food (which surprisingly did include Brussel sprouts!).
Both staff and students had a fantastic time performing, and can’t wait to go back to Castle Drogo next year for another performance.
Special thanks to Wren Music for leading the choir.
