Volunteers save the day

5 August 2020

Behold the power of Facebook. In response to our plea for help, last week a team of skilled volunteers came to help us dismantle and move our storytellers hut to a place on campus more suited for our visually impaired young people.

The hut has been moved closer to the discovery garden, making it more accessible for our young people and giving them a new outdoor space to socialise with their friends.

“We’re really grateful that we had some skilled volunteers on hand to help us with this project. It will make a real difference to the lives of our students when they return in September”- Laurence Blyth, Head of External Affairs.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to help.
