Growing the volunteer team at WESC Foundation

26 September 2019

WESC Foundation is looking for green-fingered volunteers to help develop its east Devon horticulture project.

The city-based charity offers a range of care, support and education services to young people with visual impairment and complex needs, and is looking to strengthen the team of volunteers at the 10 acre site at West Hill near Ottery St Mary.

You don’t need any experience, just the willingness to get stuck in. There is a wide range of jobs to be done throughout the year, from watering, weeding and helping grow tomatoes, through to major projects like laying paths and building bridges (and everything in between!).

The West Hill project supports young people and adults who are disadvantaged through  various disabilities by providing fun activities, new experiences and training.

For more information please email Patrick Philips or telephone 01392 454330.
