A call for Trustees of WESC Foundation

Could you help drive our charity forward and help make a difference to the lives of our young people?

WESC Foundation is a registered charity (registered number 1058937) which was registered in 1996.  As a school for blind people, the organisation has been in existence in one form or another since 1838

Our aim is to help visually impaired young people learn how to take their place in society.  Our mission is to create a better life for young people with visual impairment by providing a specialist centre for education, care and support and offering a range of care and support services on our campus and in the community.

About the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees currently comprises of eight members, and is therefore seeking 2 to 3 new Trustees to serve on the Board, and to serve one or more periods of three years.

Our current Chair of Trustees is Christopher Knee.

All Trustees are volunteers and the position is unremunerated although expenses are reimbursable.
