“Bingo!” as Honiton locals support visually impaired children’s charity
27 February 2020
A bingo group that meets in Honiton has presented a cheque for £620 to the WESC Foundation – a specialist centre for children and young adults who are blind or partially sighted and have other complex needs.
Sandra Vittles and Pam Lane, who organise the monthly PS Bingo in the Three Tun’s pub on the High Street, first came across the charity’s work through their Honiton charity shop. The money raised will support WESC Foundation’s community horticulture project at West Hill which also offers opportunities to groups and individuals in the local area.
