We want to improve the way in which young people with visual field loss use their remaining vision. Training programmes that involve using specialised computer software can improve functional vision for adult patients so we have developed a computer game for young people with visual field loss based on this technique. Our goal is to see if training with this computer software is effective at improving functional vision for young people, and to explore the potential of computer games to increase motivation and engagement with rehabilitation.

If you have visual field loss or care for someone who does, and are between the ages of 7-25 years old, then we would like to invite you to take part in a research study organised by WESC Foundation and the University of Lincoln.

Please contact Jonathan Waddington from the Research and Development team on 01392 454349 or email jwaddington@wescfoundation.ac.uk if you wish to participate.
